Behind the Franck-Haus, at the end of the passage to Stiergasse, the History Club of Marktheidenfeld and the Region installed as a permanent exhibition a blacksmith workshop in a former barn.
Due to the installation of a glass wall an an automatic illumination it is always possible to look inside the showroom. An outside forge with anvil complements the exhibition under a canopy outside.
The museum gives an impression of the blacksmith's work at the beginning of the last century. The inventory: forge with bellows and anvil as well as hammers, forceps and other instruments with which the hot iron was handled, comes from the former old blacksmith shop in Bronnbacher Straße, the rooms of which are now - after restoration - used by the adult education center.
